IJED charges no submission fees. An APC applies only upon acceptance, with waivers available for eligible authors.

For low-income country authors (World Bank list).
No charge to submit your manuscript.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
IJED is an open-access journal. To cover the cost of peer review, editing, production, and hosting, we charge an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance of a manuscript.
The current APC is USD 150 per accepted article. There are no submission fees.
Waiver Policy
We are committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent high-quality research from being published. Authors from low-income countries or facing genuine financial hardship may apply for a full or partial waiver.
- Waiver requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission
- Waiver decisions are made independently of editorial decisions
- Authors from countries classified as low-income by the World Bank are eligible for automatic full waivers
- Partial waivers may be granted on a case-by-case basis
Payment
Authors will receive an invoice only after their manuscript has been accepted for publication. Payment details will be provided in the acceptance notification. The APC must be paid before the article is published.
