The Role of Peer Reviewers
Peer reviewers play a critical role in maintaining the quality and integrity of research published in IJED. We greatly value the expertise and time that reviewers contribute to our journal.
Review Process
We use a double-blind peer review process — both author and reviewer identities remain anonymous throughout.
Reviewer receives an invitation to review a manuscript.
Reviewer accepts or declines within 5 days.
Reviewer completes the review within 3–4 weeks.
Reviewer submits a detailed report and recommendation.
Reviewer Responsibilities
- Evaluate the manuscript objectively and impartially
- Maintain confidentiality of the manuscript and review process
- Disclose any potential conflicts of interest
- Provide constructive, specific, and actionable feedback
- Recommend Accept, Revision, or Rejection with justification
- Complete reviews within the agreed timeframe
